Olive ridley turtle

Nesting grounds of the olive ridley turtle are distributed across tropical zones around the world. It is uncommonly found in the waters of Japan. It is small and relatively round with a brownish olive colored carapace. Olive ridley turtles are a species known for their behavior of synchronized nesting in large numbers called arribadas.
