Spearnose seabat
※Off display.
A species of batfish which are themselves a type of anglerfish. The English name describes its bat-like shape with a spear on its head. Usually it stays still on the bottom of the tank, however, in the past it was confirmed under captive rearing that it will stick its head under the mud and feed. Hard protrusions cover its back while its lower side is white and soft. The pectoral fins and ventral fins are well developed, and they use them to move around as if they are walking.
