Juveniles of this species live amongst the tentacles of jellyfish such as the Portuguese man o’ war. As it matures the color of its body changes, and it descends to the deep sea. Adult fish are known to live at depths between 200 and 1000 meters, however its life cycle is not fully understood. (Image is of a juvenile fish)
