Deep-sea sea cucumber

This deep-sea sea cucumber has a soft translucent body. It is quite small reaching just 5 cm in length. When disturbed parts of its body luminesce. Our facility used a ROV (remotely operated vehicle) to collect it from the muddy seabed at a depth of 388 meters.
