Broadclub cuttlefish

Distributed in warm waters around the world. One of the largest cuttlefish species. The Japanese name kobushime comes from the Okinawan name kubushimi. Spawning takes place in this aquarium every March and the eggs hatch in June. This species is also an important aquatic food resource.
