Indo-Pacific furry lobster

A species of spiny lobster. In Japan, they have been found off Amami Oshima, Yoron Island, Okinawa Island and the Yaeyama Islands. Its whole body is vivid orange. In Okinawa, they are on rare occasions caught when fishing from seawalls. Divers can sometimes observe them in rocky holes and within caves.
