Bottlenose dolphin

Bottlenose dolphins are distributed in warm waters along coasts and offshore around the world. They widely inhabit the waters around Japan. The bottlenose dolphin is the most commonly reared species of dolphin in aquariums around the world. The tip of its snout is short and thick. Our facility, and other aquariums across Japan have had success at breeding common bottlenose dolphins.
