A species of benthic ctenophore. Unlike swimming pelagic comb jellies, it attaches itself to rocks and Gorgonian horny corals (Alcyonacea). To feed, its comb-like tentacles reach out from the tip of its body to catch floating zooplanktons. This species varies in color, and there are many colorful individuals.
