Cauliflower coral
Widely distributed across the Indo-Pacific. Its colonies look like cauliflowers. Often seen attached to buoys or posts. It is a hermaphroditic coral and releases planula larva. Various creatures live between these branches such as coral crabs of the genus Trapezia, coral snapper shrimp (Alpheus lottini) and gobies of the genus Paragobiodon.
