Spaghetti finger leather coral

Distributed in coral reefs of the Western Pacific. In Japan, they are found from the Kii Peninsula southwards. Live at depths of 5 to 20 m on the slopes of water channels or in lagoons with good tidal flow. This large species of tree-like coral grows to 30 to 50 cm in height. The colors of its polyps vary from reddish brown to yellowish brown.
