Spotfin burrfish

Widely distributed across temperate waters of the Pacific. It is the largest species of porcupinefish (Diodontidae), and reaches 65 cm in length. They are eaten in Okinawa, along with the longspined porcupinefish (Diodon holocanthus) and the spot-fin porcupinefish (Diodon hystrix).
