Spotted moray

Commonly seen on coral reefs of southern Okinawa. Reaches 1.8 meters in length. It is said its meat is delicious and is sometimes seen at the local fish market. There are times where their flesh can turn toxic, and there have been cases of food poisoning after eating this species.
