Giant moray

Distributed across the Indo-Pacific including the Ryukyu Islands. It is a large moray eel reaching around 2 meters in length. Its Japanese name is doku-utsubo (poison moray) because they may have ciguatera toxins, however they are eaten in Okinawa.
