Coconut crab
The coconut crab is a nocturnal species of hermit crab. They are omnivorous and feed on coconut fruit as well as frogs. They can weigh up to 4kg and their claws have a grip strength that is 90 times their own weight. It is said to be the strongest of all crustaceans. On the other hand, they are vulnerable to changes in their environment and numbers have decreased in recent years.
