Green jobfish
Distributed across the Indo-Pacific, including southern Japan. It is green and identified by its short pectoral fins and the furrow in front of its eyes. This is a common edible species found on coral reefs from near the surface to 150 meters. It reaches 70 cm in length. They are also a popular fish for game fishing. They often swim close by scuba divers. They are extremely fast and agile swimmers.
