Japanese surgeonfish
This species is a member of the beautifully colored Acanthuridae family. The Japanese surgeonfish has a white patch on its upper jaw below its eyes. It is a close relative of the whitecheek surgeonfish but they can be distinguished as the Japanese surgeonfish has a yellow base to their pectoral fins.
