Bulb-tentacle sea anemone
This species of sea anemone is found in coral reefs at shallow depths. The tip of its tentacle is shaped like a bubble. It can reproduce asexually by splitting and making clones of itself to form a colony. It lives symbiotically with many clownfish species including the yellowtail clownfish (Amphiprion clarkii) and tomato clownfish (Amphiprion frenatus). Previously Entacmaea quadricolor, Entacmaea maxima and Entacmaea ramsayi were considered to be different species but now they are grouped together as a single species Entacmaea quadricolor .
