Sharptail mola

A member of the Molidae family, the sharptail mola can reach 3 meters in length. Its tail-like clavus has a protrusion at its center. This spear-like feature is prominent in younger individuals. They are seen in temperate and tropical zones around the world, but precise knowledge of their distribution is limited.
