Chinese trumpetfish

Widely distributed throughout the Indo-Pacific. In Japan, from Sagami Bay southwards. They grow to around 1 meter in length. It is called the trumpetfish because of the shape of its long body and snout. There are variations in body color, some are dark brown and others can be vivid yellow.
