In Okinawa, seen in shallow areas of coral reefs and places shaded by rocks. Identified by pectoral fins that are connected with fin membranes. Venomous spines are located in the dorsal fin, anal fin and pelvic fins and they will use their dorsal fins if humans come too close. Stings cause severe pain.
