Harlequin sweetlips

A species of grunt (Haemulidae family). Reaches 50cm in length. Its thick lips are positioned low on the face. Body color and behavior differ between juveniles and adults. The Japanese name chouchou-koshoudai was given because juvenile fish looks similar to a fluttering butterfly while swimming.
