Pilotfish
- Rareness:★★★★★

The pilotfish is found in tropical and temperate waters around the world. It is usually near the surface of the open sea. Its body is spindle-shaped rather than flattened. There are six to seven traverse black bands on its bluish-white or even silver-gray body. The tips of its black tail fin are white. Its caudal peduncle has well developed fleshy keels. It swims with larger species of fish such as sharks and rays, as if it were piloting them, it is therefore called the pilotfish.
