Blue sea star

This species is commonly seen in shallow waters of the Okinawa Islands and southwards, they are occasionally seen off of the Kii Peninsula and the east coast of Kyushu. Its radius (the length from the center of its body to the tip of the arms) reaches 10cm. Its body is hard and usually has 5 legs. Usually their body is blue, but some individuals are orange.
