Dark-banded fusilier

Distributed across the Indo-Pacific including the Ogasawara Islands and south Japan. It has a slender and cylindrical shape. Its tail fin splits and it has a dark horizontal stripe along the sides of its body. They are particularly popular amongst fisherman. It forms schools and swims in the mid or lower depths at the outer edge of coral reefs.
