Native Okinawan Village and Omoro Arboretum

Back to the old days of Okinawa

The Native Okinawan Village is the re-creation of an old community of the 17th to 19th centuries, during the Ryukyu Kingdom era.

The Omoro Arboretum is also located in the same area, displaying plants mentioned in songs from the oldest song collection book in Okinawa titled “Omorosoushi.”
