"Create Winter Break Memories at Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium! 'Churaumi Winter Holiday Special 2024
The Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium will be hosting the "Churaumi Winter Holiday Special 2024" starting from Saturday, December 21st. We invite you to join in this fun event and make unforgettable memories during your winter break!
Exclusive Winter-Only Aquarium Exhibits Now Open!
In celebration of the 2025 zodiac animal, the "Snake," we will feature an exhibition focusing on sea snakes, a type of reptile. Snakes, known for shedding their skin, are associated with "resurrection and renewal," symbolizing longevity and strong vitality. In the Zodiac-Themed Aquarium, we will display the shed skins and live specimens of the Erabu sea snake, along with a variety of other sea snake species, showcased through extensive specimens and informative panels.

Churaumi Rock-Paper-Scissors Tournament
How about joining the staff for a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors with the shout "Churaumi Janken, Janken Poi!"? Customers who win will receive a wonderful gift, and even those who tie or lose will receive a participation prize.

Receive a special aquarium original trading card as a gift!
We will be giving away original aquarium trading cards featuring marine life to visitors who arrive during the relatively less crowded hours right after the aquarium opens! A total of 30 different card designs are available, so be sure to collect them all.

New Year's Fortune Lucky Draw
How about trying your luck with a New Year's fortune slip (omikuji)? Customers who draw "Great Blessing" will receive a wonderful gift, and those who draw "Medium Blessing" or "Small Blessing" will also receive a participation prize.

Christmas Limited Edition Annual Pass Design
The highly popular limited edition annual pass design is back with a Christmas version! This design features illustrations of a whale shark and manta ray by Okinawan illustrator "pokke104." You can choose your favorite design.
*If you already have an annual pass with a valid expiration date, you can switch to this new design for an additional 300 yen.

Christmas Digital Stamp Rally
A digital stamp rally will be held using the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium official app in collaboration with the Okinawa Ocean Expo Park. Visit two Christmas-themed locations, and you’ll receive a special original gift! Download the app via the QR code below to participate.
