We are happy to announce a Scannable AI Encyclopedia is now available on the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium’s official app Churaumi App.
Overview of the Scannable AI Encyclopedia
Open the Scannable AI Encyclopedia on the Churaumi App screen. Point your smartphone camera at any of the creatures in the tank. The Scannable AI Encyclopedia instantly provides the creature’s name and description. Additional explanations from the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium staff may also be included.
When the app is connected and used within Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium there is no limit to how much you can use it. The creatures recognized will be registered automatically and you can create your own Churaumi Encyclopedia.
※The app supports multiple languages (Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean) so it can also be used by visitors from overseas.

Install or activate from the banner on the Churaumi App screen.
※If you have not already installed LINNÉ LENS an installation screen will be displayed. After installation is complete the app is ready for use.
