【Notice】2026 Summer Opening Hours at Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium
Please be advised that the opening hours of Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and surrounding facilities will be changed as follows.

* Visitors under 18 years of age may not enter the aquarium alone after 9:00 p.m.

Extended Aquarium Hours and Expected Crowds
On Saturday, July 4, during the Ocean Expo Park Churaumi Fireworks Festival, heavy traffic congestion is expected on surrounding roads and in the park parking areas.
To help alleviate congestion within the park and stagger visitor departure times, the aquarium will extend its operating hours on this day.
As temperatures are expected to rise during the daytime, please take precautions against heatstroke by drinking water frequently and taking regular breaks.
Please allow extra travel time, as traffic congestion and full parking lots are expected from early in the day.
